Breakfasts at sea

Even though I make Mickey waffles at home all the time, there's something special about eating them on the Disney cruise ship. Go ahead, call me a nerd.
For breakfast aboard DCL, you can choose to eat from several restaurants. We decided the buffet at Enchanted Garden was our favorite. You'll see when you check out the goods in this photo.
Scrambled eggs, endless Mickey waffles, roasted potatoes with bell pepps, and 3 kinds of pancakes (2 daily staples, 1 alternating flavor). Several mornings I went for oatmeal, grapefruit, and berries which went unphotographed so as not to bore you.
We also learned at some point that you can order custom omelettes here. This was our egg white omelette with assorted veggies and ketchup (yes, they pour the ketchup Mickey-style).
We also drank copious amounts of coffee at these breakfasts. When we told a waiter aboard how much we loved their coffee, he said "many guests love our coffee. It is Nescafe". I guess that means Justin and I are not coffee conossieurs. Or Nescafe is better than coffee snobs give it credit for. Whatever the case, we were satisfied.
The Royal Palace restaurant offers table service at breakfast. They have a wide variety of decadent and healthy breakfasts. The health nut in me really enjoyed their buckweat crepes with tofu, egg whites, spinach and salsa.
Justin steered clear of my tofu selection and ordered their veggie frittata. He was glad he did so.
Next post covers drinking at sea (lots of bars on this ship). Cheers!
